Mr. Fradua has been the Executive
Vice-President of the firm since 2005 and a
Principal since 1990. Previously he was Manager
of Engineering Services for the Firm’s Long
Island Office since 1981. He is the manager of
the firm’s structural engineering services, as
well as investigation and analysis of distressed
structures and construction failures. He is
responsible for the preparation of construction
documents for new and rehabilitation designs as
well as construction monitoring and management.
He performs field investigations and structural
analysis of buildings undergoing distress or
failure. Mr. Fradua is in charge of the
design of buildings in steel, reinforced
concrete, reinforced masonry, and light gage
metal framing as well as the design of many
types of foundation systems including sheeting
and bracing, utilizing the latest construction
methods, and design of marine dock facilities.
He has performed design and analysis of
prestressed concrete structures for the storage
and containment of liquids, bulk materials,
liquid natural gas, and for seismic and missile
impact studies utilizing the latest, state of
the art materials and equipment.
Mr. Fradua is a member of professional
organizations such as ACI, AISC, and ASCE. He is
on ACI Committee 423 on Prestressed Concrete,
ACI Committee 556 on Engineering Demolition of
Concrete and Masonry Structures, and ACI
Committee 121 on Quality Assurance Systems for
Concrete.
Mr. Fradua is a graduate of Manhattan
College and a licensed Professional Engineer in
New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Georgia, Michigan,
Arizona and Maine. |
