A 16x106-ft metal scaffold platform that was used for the rehabilitation of the Queensboro bridge collapsed and fell into the East River, taking the life of one worker. FKC investigated the structural system of the steel truss platform and the construction loads. An engineering report with findings, conclusions and recommendations was issued.
