BENJAMIN LAVON, P.E.
PRESIDENT


Mr. Lavon has been the President of the firm of FKC since 2005; previously, he was a Vice-President of the firm from 1991 to 2005.
Mr. Lavon has 30 years of diversified engineering experience which includes structural design of commercial, institutional, residential and industrial projects, high-rise apartment and office buildings, nursing homes, US postal facilities, movie theaters, department stores, shopping centers, parking garages, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and special structures; failure investigation and reports; seismic evaluations of various structures, Infra-structure evaluation expertise.

Mr. Lavon obtained his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Technion, Israel in 1977, and his M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic Institute/New York University in 1982.


MARTIN J. FRADUA, P.E.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT


Mr. Fradua has been the Executive Vice-President of the firm since 2005 and a Principal since 1990. Previously he was Manager of Engineering Services for the Firm’s Long Island Office since 1981. He is the manager of the firm’s structural engineering services, as well as investigation and analysis of distressed structures and construction failures. He is responsible for the preparation of construction documents for new and existing structures, rehabilitation designs as well as construction monitoring and management. He performs field investigations and structural analysis of buildings undergoing distress or failure.

Mr. Fradua obtained his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in 1969 and his MBA from Adelphi University in 1983.


PERICLES C. STIVAROS, Ph.D., P.E.
VICE PRESIDENT


Dr. Stivaros has been a Vice-President of the firm since 2005, and with the firm since 1988. His professional experience includes structural analysis and design of building systems, failure investigation and distress analysis, condition surveys, and structural evaluation and rehabilitation of buildings and other structures. He is in charge of the Testing and Monitoring Department of the firm, and is responsible for developing testing and monitoring programs for distressed structures.

Dr. Stivaros holds a Ph.D. degree (1988) and a Master of Science degree (1984) in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University, and a Civil Engineering Degree from HTI, Cyprus (1981). EXTENDED BIO
